About Morning

How we write our guides

Every guide is written from the FDA labels and published trials, shows its sources, and never tells you what dose to take.

Updated October 14, 2026

Morning's guides exist so that people on a GLP-1 medication can get clear, accurate answers between appointments. This page explains how they are made, so you can judge them for yourself.

Where the facts come from

Every number in a guide comes from a source you can check, listed at the end of that guide:

  • FDA prescribing information for each medication (Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, Mounjaro and others), read from DailyMed or the FDA's label archive. Side-effect rates, dose schedules, storage rules and warnings come from these labels.
  • Peer-reviewed trials, such as STEP 1 and SURMOUNT-1, and their published follow-up analyses.
  • Public health guidance, such as the US Dietary Guidelines, the Physical Activity Guidelines and the National Institutes of Health.

If we cannot verify a figure against one of these, it does not go in the guide. Where sources disagree (for example, a label's table and its text), we use the label's table and say so.

Rules every guide follows

  • Never a dose instruction. We describe what a label says. We never tell you what to take, skip, double or change. That decision belongs to you and your clinician.
  • Safety first. Red-flag symptoms always come with a clear line on when to call your clinician or seek care.
  • No shame. We write the way a good friend who happens to know the research would talk to you: plainly, warmly, without judgment.
  • No compounded-drug advice, no prices, no before-and-after photos.
  • English and Spanish. Spanish guides are written natively for readers in Latin America and the US, not machine-translated, and note where brands or availability differ.

How guides are written and checked

Each guide is drafted by the Morning team from the sources above, then checked figure by figure against those sources before it is published. AI tools help us research, draft and cross-check; a person on the Morning team reviews every guide before it goes live.

We are adding named clinical reviewers from Morning's advisory team. Until a guide shows a reviewer, treat it as what it is: careful, sourced education, not a substitute for your own clinician.

Updates and corrections

Every guide shows the date it was last updated. We revisit guides when labels change (for example, when the Wegovy label added a 7.2 mg dose in 2026) or when important new trial results are published.

If you spot an error, write to hello@morninghealth.app. We correct mistakes quickly and update the date on the guide.

Independence

Morning is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, paid by or sponsored by Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly or any other drug maker, and no guide is sponsored content.
