Titration schedules

How the dose usually steps up, week by week, according to each medication's label.

Medication

Why doses step up

GLP-1 medications start low and go up gradually so your body can adjust. Most side effects, like nausea, show up in the days after a step up and ease with time.

What the dates mean

Each date is the earliest a step could happen at the label's pace, counting four weeks per step from your first dose. In practice steps are often later, and that is normal.

Questions

Do I have to reach the highest dose?

No. Many people do well on a lower maintenance dose. The right dose is the one that works for you with side effects you can live with, decided with your clinician.

Does this cover compounded or vial dosing?

No. It shows the brand labels only. For compounded medication, follow the instructions from your prescriber and pharmacy.

Can Morning remind me when to step up?

Morning logs the plan you and your clinician set and reminds you on shot day. It never recommends a dose change.
